Der Ford Focus löste den erfolgreichen Ford Escort in der Kompaktklasse ab und konnte auch schon mehrere Auszeichnungen, u.a. "World Car of the Year", für sich verbuchen.
Ford Focus '99 (Facelift) (2001 - 2004)
Ende 2001 erhielt der Ford Focus ein Facelift, äußerlich vor allem an den modifizierten Stossfängern und den verändertem Leuchtbild der Scheinwerfer zu erkennen.
