Ford Capri (1969 - 1984)
Der Ford Capri war ein erfolgreiches Sportcoupé welches von den Formen an den legendären Ford Mustang aus den USA erinnern sollte. Auch im Rennsport war der Ford Capri sehr erfolgreich.

Ford Capri '73 (1972 - 1974)
Das Facelift 1973 betraf hauptsächlich die Beleuchtung des Capri. Das Fahrwerk wurde komfortabler ausgelegt und das Motorenprogramm erweitert.

Ford Capri II '74 (1974 - 1976)
Die zweite Generation des Ford Capri wurde 1974 auf den Markt gebracht. Er bot nun auch eine Heckklappe und vergrößerte Fensterflächen, welche die bemängelte Rundumsicht des Vorgängers verbesserten.
Ford Capri II '76 (1976 - 1978)
Im Frühjahr 1976 wurde das Modellangebot neu strukturiert und die Ausstattungsvarianten geändert. Neu gab es 2,0-Liter-V6-Motor mit 90 PS.

Die letzte Baureihe wurde 1978 vorgestellt und fiel vor allem durch die sportlichere Front auf. Da der '78er Capri umfangreich überarbeitet wurde, wird diese Baureihe inoffiziell oft auch Capri III bezeichnet.
